As the Senior Game Programmer, you will develop and improve games, tools, and systems on the Roblox Platform using LUA within Roblox Studios. You will define APIs, lead new development, and share insights across teams to enhance our processes and coding standards. Our culture is fun, playful, fearless, and forward-looking. Details:
- Start date: Immediately, with a permanent contract after 6 months probation
- Reporting to: Code Managers
- Location: Remote in Sweden with optional hybrid/in-office work in Stockholm
- Work hours: Full-time, CET timezone
- Language: English (applications in English only)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with LUA, C, C#, or similar languages
- 5+ years in game or software development
- Strong knowledge of code architecture and patterns
- Experience with Scrum methodology
- Understanding of player experience and business decision-making
- Mentoring experience and excellent communication skills
- Higher vocational or university degree in game development or software engineering
- Fluent English
- Residing in Sweden or Portugal
- Passion for games
