ToolingEngineer The Opportunity: An exciting opportunity within global Aerospace manufacturer who are currently expanding due to further investment, for an experienced and pro-active Tooling Engineer to develop, implement and maintain best practice through all product engineering activities within their CNC Tooling environment.This role is tooling orientated, with it but it is also quite dimensional based. So it is ensuring the products meet the customer geometry to within the dimensional tolerance they set. The Role: To technically support production of high-quality castings to customers requirements by managing programmes and executing engineering project assignments. You will be usingCAE tools for CNC machining, CAD, and 3D modelling. Effective management of individual part programswhilst applying Six Sigma/DMAIC methodologies to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and drive process improvement. Delivery of high-quality products whichconsistently meet customer specifications, minimizing rework and scrap. Continuous improvement of dimensional processes and implementation of effective process controls. Preferred Skills: Tooling design and/or CAD experience. Injection moulding and/or ceramics processing experience
