We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a German-speaking Business Development Representative to join a global media group. Your overall role will be to develop new business interest from the German-speaking markets of Europe (DACH).
Location of the job: Office located in North London (NW7), with hybrid work possible.
Language requirements: Fluency in German and English is essential.
Company background: Our client is an international media group.
Job responsibilities: As a German-speaking Business Development Representative, you will focus on new business development in the DACH countries with German-speaking clients. You will contact them via email, telephone, CRM, and social media (LinkedIn, etc.) to set up sales appointments for the Sales Manager.
- Contact potential clients through cold calls, LinkedIn, and emails.
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns.
- Build relationships with potential clients.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Engage with business owners of small and medium-sized businesses.
- Set up meetings or calls with prospective clients.
- Report to the Sales Manager on sales activity and pipeline.
Candidate requirements:
- Fluency in German and English is essential; fluency in Turkish is an advantage but not required.
- Previous experience in sales, business development, telesales, or lead generation, including cold calling and emailing.
- Motivation to succeed and grow your career.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to gather details about prospects.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Salary and benefits: Base salary of £26,000 – £35,000 plus commission (OTE £40,000 – £50,000). Monday to Friday, office hours, office-based role.
