Self-employed Estate Planning Consultant

We\’re seeking experienced estate planning consultants across the UK. Our growing business values a customer-first approach and a strong brand presence. If you possess the necessary skills, we offer a fantastic opportunity to work with our industry-leading team.

In this role, you\’ll discuss the benefits of our products and services with potential customers, helping them make informed legal planning decisions. Up-to-date knowledge of legal principles and estate planning experience are required. As a self-employed consultant, you\’ll manage your own workload, conducting client appointments mainly via video calls and home visits.

Responsibilities

1. Attend appointments generated by the company
2. Self-generate at least 50% of new business and gain referrals
3. Discuss estate planning and legal services including Wills, LPAs, Trusts, and probate
4. Work with Co-op Legal Services to draft legal documents
5. Deliver talks and seminars on legal products to community groups
6. Identify customer needs and take accurate instructions
7. Use our Estate Planning Assistant software to capture instructions

Candidate Profile

• Proven estate planning or will writing experience, trained to IPW or SWW standards, or legally qualified via CILEX
• Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy and ability to identify customer needs
• Ability to explain legal concepts clearly
• Confident presenter with engaging communication skills
• Negotiation and influencing skills with enthusiasm for our services
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and adaptability to custom software
• Full UK driver’s license and access to a vehicle
