We are currently recruiting for the following position on behalf of our global aviation client working in aircraft asset management and lease services. Job Title: Powerplant Engineer Location: UK-Wales- Hybrid Contract Type: Permanent Package: Competitive This is a principally technical role within the Fleet Management Team. The role involves the independent and competent management of multiple customer and internal projects, including engine-related activities. Key Responsibilities Act as a virtual powerplant support for airline/lessor clients. Shop Visit Management Table/Physical Piece Part Inspection Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) / Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) analysis. Invoice Review MRO Contract Negotiation and Selection Engine Transition Management Technical Records Due Diligence Engine Physical Inspection/External Parts Inventory Borescope Inspection Overview and Analysis MPA/Test Cell Run Overview and Analysis Lease Contract Review, Interpretation and Negotiation Attendance at OEM technical conferences. Qualifications / Requirements Minimum of 5 years\’ experience in a powerplant-focused role. Degree qualification preferred. Technical knowledge across a number of the CFM, P&W, GE, IAE & RR products. A desire to further increase understanding of technical, commercial engineering, and financial principles related to aero engine management. Computer literate and proficient with MS Office products.
