What Will You Do
- Your role involves developing engineering design solutions for maritime civil structures in ports and shipyards, using materials like steel, concrete, and timber, in accordance with relevant codes.
- You will contribute throughout all project stages, from inception to demolition and recycling.
- Your technical and commercial experience, along with your ability to liaise with multidisciplinary teams, will be vital.
- You will act as a Project Manager for small to medium projects or a Technical Manager for larger, complex projects, providing guidance to junior staff.
- Prepare designs and analysis for maritime structures.
- Conduct inspections and surveys.
- Produce and review design calculations and models.
- Check drawings before issuance.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities, Contracts, and Specifications.
- Undertake structural analyses and reporting.
- You will also give presentations, provide engineering advice, and review reports.
- Your commercial awareness will help deliver profitable results, and you will contribute to business development through proposals and client interactions.

- Experience in developing shipyard infrastructure (quays, dry docks, docks, lifts).
- Commitment to training junior staff.
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (BSc, MSc, CEng, etc.).
- Experience in maritime structural design and familiarity with standards.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
