Purpose: Responsible for the delivery of engineering services to your main customers, Glasgow & Southampton Airports. Responsible across the Service Management lifecycle for ensuring service designs meet customer, operational and regulatory requirements, ensuring new and changed services transition into operation safely and successfully and most importantly, that the engineering services continue to operate within agreed service levels.

Key Duties:

  • Manage a team at each allocated Airport consisting of a Senior Engineer and up to 4 engineers, ensuring continued development and maintenance of competencies.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, acting as the focal point for engineering services for allocated contracts.
  • Ensure the effective management of the day-to-day delivery of operational services to meet the agreed Service Levels, including effective incident and problem management.
  • Ensure that all technical, financial, quality, regulatory, safety and customer requirements are met.
  • Manage operational service risks and if required, make risk-based decisions to maintain a safe and efficient engineering service.
  • Ensure that suppliers are managed effectively, including assisting with contract negotiations.
  • Support business development activities.
  • Strive to achieve Continuous Service Improvement.
  • Provide 'Voice of the Customer' to ensure projects are managed effectively and meet agreed success criteria.

The successful candidate will be based at Glasgow Airport with travel required to Southampton Airport.
