The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for providing coordination, planning, and supervision to labor, contractors, and craft activities on a utility-scale solar or BESS site. This position develops and enhances customer relationships by providing superior service. This position requires potential for travel to all sites in the United States.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality installation of electrical components, including underground cabling, wiring, and DC collection systems.
- Review drawings, constructability, submittals, and provide feedback with the engineering team, ensuring materials and workmanship conform to specifications.
- Collaborate with Construction and Project Managers on schedules and updates, including 3-week look-aheads.
- Provide resources and support to work teams.
- Supervise work quality, including self-performed and subcontracted work.
- Manage interface with personnel concerning connection of the project to the power grid.
- Participate in project meetings, liaise between engineers, contractors, and craft workers to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Coach, mentor, and train field personnel, forepersons, and assistant superintendents.
- Foster teamwork within the project team.
- Provide work direction and conduct performance evaluations.
- Participate in hiring, discipline, and dismissal decisions as needed.
- Develop leadership potential through task assignments and growth opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with visitors, including customers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Manage site work and logistics efficiently, suggesting improvements.
Oversight of electrical subcontractors includes:
- Review procurement, staffing, schedules, and coordination of subcontractors.
- Ensure plans, specifications, and RFIs are transmitted accurately and timely.
- Monitor safety, quality, and efficiency of subcontracted work.
- Ensure subcontractors have necessary resources and support.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
- Proficiency in installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of DC and medium voltage cables.
- Knowledge of electrical testing methods and equipment.
- Working knowledge of electrical drawings, underground systems, transformers, and SCADA systems.
- At least 2 years of supervising solar electrical work.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Work performed in the field with travel required.
- Physical labor may be required.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 pounds.
