Macildowie are currently working with one of our major partners focused on further growth within the Data Analytics function. We are looking for a skilled and analytical BI Analyst with expertise in pricing analytics to join a newly developed Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will turn complex data into actionable insights, with a special focus on evaluating pricing models, measuring price elasticity, and identifying margin improvement opportunities across products and markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse pricing performance and strategies across different products, regions, and customer segments.
  • Design and build pricing dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing, and sales to align pricing strategies with business goals.
  • Conduct price elasticity analysis, competitor benchmarking, and scenario modelling.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise pricing structures and improve margin performance.
  • Monitor pricing KPIs and develop data models to support pricing decisions.
  • Deliver clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on pricing.
  • Strong experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and SQL.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Proven experience analysing large data-sets to support pricing and profitability decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of pricing theory and revenue optimisation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related STEM field (Master's a plus).
