Your purpose:

In this role, you might lead a team to produce engineering substantiation or author a complex safety case, supporting critical decision-making in the design, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Alternatively, you may influence the client\’s strategic direction on structural integrity challenges related to new build designs or existing assets, develop business pipelines within your capability, or present technical solutions to regulators.

This position offers the chance to work with diverse clients, including nuclear generation (Advanced Gas Cooled Reactors and Sizewell B), Rolls Royce Pressurized Water Reactors, nuclear new builds like Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, as well as innovative players in fusion and SMR markets. You should be eager to lead technical project delivery, solve complex problems, and communicate solutions effectively to stakeholders. A drive for excellence, attention to detail, and a big-picture perspective are essential.

You will also have opportunities to collaborate with the wider technical community within AtkinsRéalis, leveraging global expertise and fostering multidisciplinary teamwork. Additionally, you will contribute to mentoring junior engineers, supporting our growth and enhancing project delivery capabilities while developing your leadership skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: £50,000+ per annum, with performance-based additional pay
