Job Description LanguageLine’s UK operation is part of the worldwide LanguageLine Solutions group, with global headquarters in California and European headquarters in London. Over 40 years, we have provided industry-leading interpreting and translation services. Main Job Purpose As a Client Account Manager, you will develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to meet their needs, enhance the client experience, retain their business, and grow existing accounts. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts. Proactively and reactively communicate with clients, address concerns, and resolve conflicts. Meet clients regularly via face-to-face or video calls to understand their business needs and expectations. Build trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and internal stakeholders. Conduct account reviews to manage expectations, improve service standards, and liaise with operational teams on performance issues. Identify growth opportunities through account penetration and awareness expansion. Explore cross-selling and additional service opportunities within existing accounts. Support bid management in re-tender processes. Maintain client records and activities in CRM (Salesforce). Promote our competitive advantages and new products. Act as a LanguageLine Solutions ambassador. Ensure compliance with GDPR and report data security incidents. Perform other duties as appropriate. Person Specification Essential Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with CRM software (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office. Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail. Ability to perform under pressure. Desirable Degree or postgraduate qualifications in sales or marketing. This role is subject to a basic DBS Disclosure.
