Portico is currently recruiting for a Conference Services and Events Manager to oversee our team based at an American multinational investment bank and financial services company located in the City. This location is a flagship for Portico! The team takes pride in delivering intuitive service with careful planning and faultless standards. They have a flexible, can-do approach and strive to exceed expectations at every opportunity.
The main duties include managing high volumes of reservations and planning events. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Events & Conference Services operation, supervise the team, and ensure continuous improvement of service standards while motivating team members and supporting their development. Building and maintaining excellent client relationships is essential, with a focus on exceeding client and staff expectations.
Shift pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: Β£54,338
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role within a high-end corporate or hotel environment. They should be strategic, open-minded, and capable of delivering consistent results under pressure in a dynamic business environment. High attention to detail and a commitment to service excellence are required. Experience with audio-visual equipment and hospitality services is desirable.
