What this job involves: The Benefits Manager, UK&I will be responsible for managing and providing leadership to the HR Operations team across all benefits including Health and Welfare, Retirement, and Financial and Physical Wellness. Plans, directs, and controls the activities and staff involved in the implementation and administration of company employee benefit programs. Serves as a subject matter expert and provides guidance to Tier 1 team on employee queries. Supports the Benefits CoE in developing processes and procedures to drive operational efficiencies.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Benefits Delivery: Manage end-to-end activities such as benefit renewals, communications, regulatory reporting, and documentation. Support Tier 1 in resolving complex benefits queries, maintain benefits communications, collaborate with HR Ops to improve processes, and oversee benefits-related system changes.
- Vendor Management: Manage vendor and third-party relationships, ensure service levels and budgets are adhered to, and oversee invoicing processes.
- Data Integrity Management: Oversee compliance, vendor utilization, and audit activities related to payroll/benefits data. Manage internal compliance audits and monitor metrics to identify risks.
- Governance: Manage benefits programs in line with operating frameworks, review and recommend enhancements, and maintain program inventories and policies.
- Process Efficiency: Assess data issues, improve procedures, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure operational success.
- UK Transitions: Support UK business with TUPE transfers and analyze benefits usage and ROI.
- Stakeholder Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders including People Partners, Global Reward teams, Legal, and Finance.
- Risk Management: Monitor compliance with legal and statutory requirements, communicate operational execution, and manage risks.
