About the Role: I’m working with a top consultancy in the Infrastructure sector that’s looking to add experienced P6 Planners/Planning Engineers to their team. If you have a background in infrastructure—whether it’s in rail, airports, roads, power, water, utilities, or defence—this could be a fantastic opportunity. My client has opportunities UK wide, hence the ‘England’ location, apply and we can speak about the nearest office to you. These roles are hybrid and you can work on industry-leading projects. Key Responsibilities: As a Planning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: Preparing and delivering Level 1 and Level 2 schedules, ensuring progress reports are accurate and timely Supporting project teams with all planning-related tasks, particularly in managing contracts and meeting reporting requirements Participating in project and programme planning meetings, helping maintain key milestones and schedule interfaces Challenges of the Role: Supporting planning and scheduling processes to manage contracts effectively Ensuring accurate progress reporting for programmes Maintaining up-to-date schedule interface requirements Adhering to NEC contract processes for managing schedule data and submissions Assisting in managing project commitments to avoid breaches Qualifications: Degree-qualified in a construction-related field Experience in planning and scheduling, including schedule development, control, and analysis, both in the office and the field Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficient in Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office applications Familiarity with engineering, procurement, and construction management processes If you’re looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic client in the infrastructure sector, and you’ve got the skills to drive success in planning and scheduling, I’d love to hear from you!
