We are recruiting on behalf of a global bank for a Loans Transaction and Account Senior Associate to join their growing Loan Operations team in London. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team providing specialist finance solutions across asset-backed sectors, with a particular focus on structured lending and shipping finance.
The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end operational management of loan transactions, from deal execution through to maturity. Working closely with internal stakeholders across deal teams, onboarding, treasury, and risk, you will play a central role in the smooth running of funding processes, data capture, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the loan operational lifecycle of structured lending and asset finance transactions
- Coordinate client onboarding and KYC with internal stakeholders
- Support funding, settlements, and bookings in the firm's loan management system (Loan IQ)
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of loan documentation and system inputs
- Provide ongoing support for portfolio management activities, including reconciliations and reporting
- Contribute to process development, workflow improvement, and systems enhancements to improve operational efficiency
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of experience in a loan administration role
- Experience reviewing loan documentation for operational and booking purposes
- Prior exposure to Loan IQ is highly desirable
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Detail-focused with a high degree of accuracy and numeracy
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
