School of Health Sciences

Background: The School of Health Sciences is part of a highly successful faculty, known for partnership working across the health and social care sector. The Post: We have several posts available. Staff at the Medway Campus will not receive London weighting allowance. We seek experienced paramedic practitioners/educators committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Applications from those keen to develop their teaching skills, with experience as a practice assessor or similar, are welcome. The role is open to Paramedics with broad practitioner and/or teaching experience, registered with HCPC. Responsibilities include facilitating teaching, learning, research, and knowledge exchange, providing an excellent student experience, and promoting diversity and inclusion. Part-time working and secondments from ambulance service staff are considered.

The Person: You should have a passion for education, a desire to see students succeed, and ambition. Opportunities include completing a PGCHE, progressing through the GOLD framework to HEA senior fellowship, and contributing to research and knowledge exchange. There may also be opportunities for doctoral studies. The university offers a career framework with promotion opportunities.
