The Opportunity:
We're seeking a skilled Duct Fitter and a hardworking Mate to join our team for a project focused on installing ductwork within a warehouse environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for steady hours and competitive pay.
What you'll be doing:
- Duct Fitter: Installing various types of ductwork according to specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations. Operating access equipment (IPAF) safely and efficiently.
- Duct Mate: Assisting the Duct Fitter with the installation process, including lifting and moving materials, preparing work areas, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
What you'll bring to the table:
- Duct Fitter:
- Proven experience as a Duct Fitter.
- Mandatory: Blue Skills Card (JIB/CSCS).
- Mandatory: Valid IPAF certification.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Your own tools.
- Some experience in a construction or mechanical environment is beneficial.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safety.
- CSCS card is preferred but not essential.
The Rewards:
- Duct Fitter: Competitive pay rate of £25 per hour.
- Duct Mate: Competitive pay rate of £17 per hour.
- Consistent working hours: 7.00 am - 3.30 pm (8 hours paid).
