ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently recruiting for Intermediate to senior level Quantity Surveyors who will be reporting into the Commercial Manager. You will be capable of managing projects with values ranging up to £5 million. The projects will be in and around the London area covering Dry lining, Metsec and Suspended Ceiling Packages. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing contractor providing fantastic career opportunities. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client
- Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
- Performing risk and value management and cost control
- Advising on procurement strategy
- Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks
- Preparing and analysing costings for tenders
- Submitting Valuations
- Final Accounts
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 8 years’ experience with a reputable dry lining contractor. Degree qualified preferred. Most importantly the candidate for this role must be trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and keen to progress your career further. You will also have to be a highly motivated individual and a strong team player. A consistent employment record is essential with at least two years at each employer.
