Key Responsibilities: Implementation and monitoring of the global governance framework for reporting; Preparation of monthly accounting for trading P&L, especially financial instruments, in collaboration with the Technical Accounting team; Monthly reporting of EU subsidiaries (future establishment plans); Driving P&L and Balance Sheet reporting for month-end close (WD1-WD6), including management commentary for senior management; Preparation of annual statutory accounts and coordination of external audits, leading on derivatives audits and disclosures; Coaching and developing two direct reports; Enhancing financial reporting processes and controls, partnering with internal audit for key control activities. Ideal Candidate: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in financial accounting/reporting; Experience with IFRS 9 financial instruments accounting.
