This is an exciting opportunity to join a global organisation in the BioTech sector, known for its collaborative and fast-paced environment. This is a pivotal role within a close-knit finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Ideal for someone making their first move from practice into industry, the position offers broad exposure across UK and US finance, including group consolidation and payroll, as well as engagement with the wider business on system and reporting improvements.

Duties will include:

  • Preparing UK and US management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and group consolidations with variance analysis
  • Supporting payroll activities, liaising with HR and performing monthly reconciliations
  • Producing weekly consolidated cashflow forecasts
  • Completing quarterly VAT returns and managing HMRC reporting
  • Assisting with audit preparation and tax compliance
  • Managing user accounts within financial systems and liaising with ERP providers
  • Processing monthly credit card claims and overseeing the expense system (Concur)
  • Documenting and enhancing finance procedures
  • Supporting ad hoc tasks from the Finance Manager

You will be a recently qualified CIMA or ACCA accountant, ideally with experience in group consolidations and management accounts within a global business. You’ll be tech-savvy with strong Office 365 skills, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a small, collaborative team.
