Wembley £30,000 - £35,000 + Annual bonus

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Handyperson to join a leading business and work within their established team. This position offers the opportunity to join a company that is rapidly growing and the chance to progress within the company.

Our client requires a Handyperson who is strong on the Fabric/Carpentry side of things and has experience with repairing Fire Doors and Furniture.

Key Duties:
  • Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on property fixtures and fittings and general grounds maintenance.
  • Perform all necessary apartment refresh tasks to restore apartments to a rentable condition. This will primarily involve painting but may also include wall repairs, minor maintenance, and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) work within the apartment(s).
  • Support stock management by conducting regular inventory checks to ensure adequate supplies of paint and materials are available at all times.
  • Maintain clean, tidy, and organised storage areas to facilitate efficient task completion.
  • Assist with the Inventory move-out process to ensure compliance with lease obligations.
  • Conduct pre-move-out apartment inspections and document any required work, helping to prepare materials and tools in advance.
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with building Health and Safety regulations.
  • Utilise the company’s CRM and tech tools to document all activities, maintaining a digital record of all work for future reference.
Requirements:
  • A background in fabric/carpentry is essential for this role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, as this is a team-oriented position requiring collaboration with colleagues.
  • You will be working within residential buildings.
  • Being IT literate with experience using CRM or CAFM systems to monitor, track, and update reported issues is desirable.
  • Strong administrative skills are required.
  • You should take pride in your work, ensuring apartments are left clean and tidy for residents both during and after tasks are completed.
  • A positive attitude and adaptability to change are important in a rapidly expanding business.
  • While being a team player is essential, you must also be capable of working independently for extended periods and be accountable for your work output.
Benefits:
