Within the scope of this role is:
- Define the Test Plan (document), including the scope and approach to Application Operational Acceptance Testing, in line with the published Test Strategy.
- Work with the relevant application vendors and support teams to define the App OAT test scenarios and test cases.
- Provide input to the MSP project plan, in respect of App OAT tasks, durations and dependencies.
- Define a schedule of test execution, taking into account dependencies and constraints (such as environment availability).
- Work with the relevant support teams to ensure that the App OAT test cases are executed in accordance with the Test Plan.
- Ensure that the results are properly recorded in Jira.
- Produce a regular progress report, during preparation and execution.
- Participate in regular defect triage calls, to ensure that any App OAT defects are correctly assigned and are being addressed.
Mandatory skills / experience:
- Planning Application OAT within a data centre environment, to include: Audit & Logging, Resilience, Backup & Recovery, Alerting & Monitoring.
- Creating a Test Plan.
- Defining Application OAT test scenarios and test cases.
- Jira.
- Must be proactive, organised and comfortable engaging with people at all levels in the organisation.
- Excellent communication skills.
