We are seeking a Housing Leaseholder Manager for our public sector client based near Grays on an initial 3-month contract (expected to last around 10 months), paying £350 per day inside IR35. This role allows hybrid working – 2–3 days per week on site.

- Leaseholder engagement and leadership across large property portfolios
- Service charge setting, invoicing, and compliance
- Right to Buy legislation and application processes
- Section 20 consultation and major works billing
- Resolving complex leaseholder queries and disputes
- Coaching and managing high-performing housing teams

The role involves:
- Leading all aspects of homeownership services for over 940 leaseholders across 10,000 properties
- Overseeing major works and ensuring Section 20 consultations are delivered within statutory timeframes
- Managing service charge processes, billing accuracy, and income collection
- Acting as the service lead for leaseholders and ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Ensuring full legal compliance across all leasehold and Right to Buy services
- Representing the council in tribunals and stakeholder forums where required
