We are seeking an experienced Senior PI Planning & Capacity Manager to take the lead of the PI Planning (Quarterly Planning) across our client's Product & Technology teams and their stakeholders. In this role, you will coach PI Planning participants on the process, across the whole organisation, from Developers to Exec level, look at the overall process roadmap and implement it.
Key Responsibilities:
- PI Planning: The Senior Planning Coordinator works in partnership with the wider operations team to ensure we have a robust PI Planning process in place across Product & Technology and all our stakeholders. They are responsible for coordinating the preparations, the planning event itself and consistent outcomes with over 1400 participants.
- Capacity Planning: Building, embedding and owning a capacity planning process with the Delivery Leadership team.
- Agile Coaching: Responsible for coaching participants of PI Planning on various levels of the organisation. Influencing other leaders to participate in the process, train-the-trainer sessions, understanding and driving how we educate and upskill the entire group on these new processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback and refine planning processes based on lessons learned and performance metrics. Stay informed about industry best practices in capacity and agile planning. Identify and address inefficiencies or gaps in the current processes.
- Plans Transparency: Drives translating the PI Planning outcomes into JIRA roadmaps to ensure transparency on all plans across Product & Technology.
Required Skills and Experience:
- PI Planning Expertise: Proven PI Planning (Quarterly Planning) excellence in significantly large organisations / scaled Agile framework. Strong understanding of capacity planning methodologies and tools.
- Agile Coaching Expertise: Exceptional ability to coach people involved in PI Planning on various levels of the organisation (from Developers to Exec level).
- Leadership and Communication: The ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a large and diverse delivery organisation. Exceptional communication skills are essential for clear direction and stakeholder management, including Exec level.
- Facilitation: Ability to lead planning sessions and workshops, driving alignment across diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in conflict resolution and managing competing priorities diplomatically.
- Stakeholder Management: The ability to forge great working relationships with all levels throughout the organisation.
