Field Calibration Engineer – Medical Equipment

Position: Field Calibration Engineer – Medical Equipment

Location: Home based, covering London and the South East, with occasional UK travel. Ideal candidates will reside in London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, or Essex.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 plus overtime

Job Description: As a Field Calibration Engineer, you will travel to client sites such as hospitals, clinics, and health centres to calibrate, maintain, and occasionally repair sensitive medical and laboratory equipment. You will work independently after initial training, with comprehensive technical and administrative support, liaising with healthcare professionals daily.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant commercial experience
• HNC/HND qualification in electronics, science, or engineering
• Smart appearance, excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Clean driving license and good navigation skills
• Calibration experience is desirable but full training will be provided

This role is suitable for individuals currently working as Calibration Engineers, Electronics Repair Engineers, Bench Engineers, Laboratory Instrumentation Technicians, Medical Device Engineers, or Field Service Engineers within a reasonable commute to London or willing to relocate.
