My client is a leading designer and manufacturer of refuelling solutions and systems for a range of industries including Marine, Aviation and Defence. They are now looking to hire an experienced Welder to join their established team in Stroud.
The ideal candidate will come from a Welding and Fabrication background, will be highly proficient with TIG Welding, will be able to interpret Engineering drawings and will be highly familiar with ASME IX standards.
Pipe Welder Job Overview- Producing finished Weld runs on pre-fabricated assemblies
- Carrying out specialist welding on Stainless Steel / Aluminium structures, pipework and components
- Welding fabricated box and tubular structures in-line with BS9606 - 1&2
- General MIG welding on MS structures
- General fabrication and fettling work
- Previous experience in a Welder / Fabricator position
- Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings
- Qualified to ASME IX
- Experienced in TIG Welding
- Able to Weld with and without JIG and fixture arrangements
- Based within a commutable distance of Stroud
- Hourly rate £16.00 - £18.00 per hour
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:00
- 31 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
- 2 Company bonus schemes
