Our Consulting team integrates multiple disciplines—Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing—to provide client-centric solutions for middle-market and other clients. With over 1,700 professionals and nearly £200m revenue, our solutions include business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk and governance, forensic services, and restructuring. We aim to support our clients' strategic goals and empower our team members to develop their careers. This role is within our Prudential Team in Risk Assurance, Financial Services. The team provides prudential regulatory advice to clients in the financial sector, helping them manage risks and meet regulatory standards. Our clients range from niche challengers to established financial institutions, domestically and internationally.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver advisory and internal audit services on prudential risk matters
- Support engagement managers with daily client activities
- Conduct document reviews, gap analyses, and research against regulations
- Lead client interviews and process reviews
- Draft reports with recommendations and present findings to clients
- Research and communicate regulatory rules within the team and to clients
- Manage aspects of client engagement, including budgets and resourcing
- Assist in preparing tender documents and proposals
- Contribute to the growth of RSM’s Financial Services brand through market research, propositions, and thought leadership
Candidate Profile
We value diverse experiences. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in banking, wealth/asset management, or insurance sectors
- Strong knowledge of prudential risk issues and regulations
- Relevant experience in professional services or regulated financial institutions
- Degree or equivalent qualification; professional qualifications like ACA, ACCA, CIA, FRM are desirable
