We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Data and Analytics team , the fintech arm of BNY. This role will focus on the software solutions of Eagle Accounting, Performance, and Data Management, P-Control for Milestone, as well Data Vault, our public cloud solution. The role is located in London (hybrid). In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: The Sales Engineer is responsible for conducting informative product demonstrations and presentations for potential customers at any location within the EMEA region. Showcasing the features, functions, and value propositions for the D&A suite of products. In addition to demonstrations, s/he is responsible for completing incoming Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation. Lead the development and execution of proof of concept (PoC) projects to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our software solutions in addressing customer challenges. This includes activities such as loading sample data, identifying business requirements/challenges and playing back solutions to prospective clients. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Extensive experience in a sales engineering, technical sales, or similar role within the software/financial services industry. Experience with Financial Software solutions is preferred. Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake). Strong SQL skills, Python is a plus. Ability to work as part of a team is mandatory. BS/BA degree. Extensive travel normally required.
