SmartestEnergy is seeking a dynamic and strategic Major Accounts Team Manager to lead our Key Account Management function and play a critical role in shaping long-term partnerships with our most valued customers. This pivotal position is responsible for driving customer retention and margin delivery, while leading and developing a high-performing team. You will bring deep knowledge of the energy industry, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will help shape and execute our Sales and Account Management strategy, acting as both a customer champion and a key contributor to business growth. What skills/experience do I need to be successful? Experience of influencing and developing relationships at varying levels within businesses, both internally and externally; Experience in commercial negotiations in the business to business sector; Experience of the day to day management of an Account Management team and associated activities; Knowledge of UK Energy markets and Energy industry structure, policy, processes; Detailed understanding of standard industry contractual arrangements and agreement structures; Understand external tender processes and general credit procedures.
