A leading provider of enterprise banking software solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join its high-performing London team. This is a senior, strategic role focused on driving new business and expanding market share within the banking and financial services sector.
The company offers a portfolio of cutting-edge platforms that support digital transformation, core banking modernization, payments innovation, and regulatory compliance across Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close, targeting banking and financial services institutions.
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets across the UK and broader EMEA region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CIOs, CFOs, Heads of Innovation, and Digital Transformation leads.
- Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and delivery teams to deliver tailored solution proposals and ensure client needs are fully addressed.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, reporting regularly on forecast and performance metrics.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record (5+ years) of success in enterprise software sales within the banking and financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of banking technology, including areas such as digital banking, core banking, payments, risk management, or compliance solutions.
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders across major financial institutions.
- Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Based in London, with the ability to travel domestically and occasionally across EMEA as required.
