Job Description
Workday Senior Consultant is expected to be proficient in implementing IT/business solutions in Workday HCM, building integrations, reports, and customizing business processes using native Workday tools.
Your Role
In the role of Workday Senior Consultant, you are expected to have experience in Workday production support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. You should recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives. You should have experience in HCM modules (Core HR, Compensation, Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll etc). Strong handsâon experience in Workday technologiesâEnterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Advanced Report Writer, Cloud Connect (PICOF, PECI, CCW, CCB), Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, Custom fields, XML/XSLT, Studio, BIRT Reporting & data analytics. Anchor the engagement effort for assignments, from business process consulting to solution design, development, and deployment. Guide teams on project processes, deliverables. As a thought leader, advise architecture and design reviews. Anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, inâhouse capability building. Shape valueâadding consulting solutions to enable clients to meet changing needs.
Responsibilities
Relevant experience in implementation, rollâout, upgrade and support projects related to Workday HCM applications.
Proficient in implementing IT/business solutions in Workday HCM, building integrations, reports, and customizing business processes using native Workday tools.
Proficient in running reports to detect changes in the system from time to time.
Proficient in performance tuning of reports and integration codes.
Strong handsâon experience in Workday technologiesâEnterprise Interface Builder, Advanced Report Writer, Cloud Connect, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, Custom fields, XML/XSLT, Studio, BIRT Reporting & data analytics.
Able to translate business requirements to technical solutions.
Experience in Workday production support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws. Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet business objectives.
Experience in troubleshooting data issues/corrections, Workday reporting and analytics, and security configs and changes.
Develop and document technical specifications, develop test conditions, conduct acceptance testing, and implement solutions. Help troubleshoot issues and processes and aggressively drive toward resolutions.
Should have experience in HCM modules (Core HR, Compensation, Recruitment, Benefits, Payroll etc).
Must be knowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps methodologies.
Identifying and addressing client needs, building solid relationships with clients, communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner.
Knowledge and experience with full SDLC and support lifecycle including experience in testing process across the project phases.
Candidate should be proficient in all the delivered HCM processes and reports, suggest best practices.
Required
Should have minimum 7 years of experience as Workday Consultant.
Preferred
Excellent problemâsolving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fastâpaced, dynamic environment.
Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies (for Lead/Consultant roles).
Knowledge of Workday Security is a plus.
