Commercial Contract Lawyer Permanent, Part Time (2 days per week) Glasgow, Hybrid Are you an experienced commercial contract lawyer seeking a flexible, part-time role with an in-house legal team? We’re currently partnering with a well known business based in Glasgow that is looking for a skilled Contract Lawyer to support their UK Legal Counsel on a part-time basis (2 days per week). This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional with a strong foundation in UK contract law to step into a key advisory position, helping shape commercial decisions and mitigate risk across a broad range of agreements. As part of a small but busy in-house legal team, your responsibilities will include: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (including service agreements and employment-related contracts). Ensuring all agreements align with current legislation and regulatory requirements, including data protection and employment law. Supporting the business with risk management through identifying and addressing legal exposure in contracts. Providing clear and practical legal advice to internal teams across departments. Offering ad-hoc cover and support to the UK Legal Counsel when required. Strong background in contract law, ideally from an in-house environment. Confidence working on a wide range of commercial agreements. Flexible working – ideal for those seeking work-life balance. Exposure to a varied contract portfolio within a collaborative team.
