Pay, benefits and more. We are looking for day drivers, working Monday to Friday. We are offering an hourly rate of £18.50. You will beworking Monday to Friday with Christmas and Bank Holidays off! What youll do on a typical day: Class 2HGV and full ADR qualification licence qualification as a minimum Monday to Friday. Bank holidays and extended holidays at Christmas Start time 0600am Anticipated weekly working hours 50hrs Dedicated vehicle(s) week about between Class I and Class II Deliveries of roofing product in the south east of England, generally speaking inside M25 Kerbside delivery to roofing merchants, Selcos etc 90% largely FLT locations; some tail lift deliveries via Powered Pallet Truck. No Central London deliveries Goods are well presented 6-9 drops per day Manual handling of loose roof trims from stillage on bed of vehicle Full PPE and ADR kits supplied to undertake duties Adherence to all mandatory PPE requirements Vehicle walk round checks and ensure at all times they remain fully compliant and operate vehicles legally and in accordance with XPO safe systems of work Adherence to all XPO site rules, requirements and processes and paperwork Timely pro-active communication of delivery problems and appropriate ETAs Immediate communication and escalation of any incident on the road or whilst at a delivery point Capturing e-POD for delivery on handheld devices What you need to succeed at XPO: Valid LGV C Licence ADR An up to date CPC and DIGI card No more than 6 points on your licence No DD, DR or IN endorsements showing on your licence Be part of something big.
