Come and join the Evri Gatwick team! We have a great opportunity to join us as the Depot General Manager for one of our depots, Gatwick. We are looking for an outstanding Depot Manager to strengthen our highly successful Northern senior management team. You will be a leader who allows their people to achieve ever-greater heights and inspires leading from the front, putting Gatwick depot at the top of the leader board!

- You will know the logistics or distribution industry and have a proven background running large, fast paced, 24/7 operations with significant teams.
- A confident communicator who can take the team on the journey with you, winning hearts and minds.
- Leading and managing the teams whilst influencing strategy and encouraging a healthy and competitive environment.
- Strong P&L management through effective planning and reporting.
- You will be someone that really enjoys resolving problems and be able to demonstrate high levels of resilience, self-motivation with a strong focus on flexibility!
- Proven history of capable and effective decision making in a time pressured environment with accountability for delivering against customer deadlines and internal KPI’s.
- Demonstrable career progression within your field and ability to show how you have developed high-performing teams to deliver against objectives.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Proven background of managing large, successful logistics or distribution sites/teams.
- Good analytical skills, financial reporting and P&L deliverables.
- Resilient and determined, working to tight deadlines under pressure.
- Good knowledge of Transport regulations, H&S regulations.
- Strong people manager with good communication and ability to liaise at all levels.
- PC Literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements as this is a 24/7 operation.
