Primary Responsibilities

The Product Development – Private Assets role involves defining, developing, and maintaining investment products throughout their lifecycle, focusing mainly on Private Credit but also covering other private asset classes. Responsibilities include market research, product proposal coordination, and serving as an internal expert on product and technical knowledge.

Key Focus Areas

Product Development and Launch

• Manage fund launches, coordinating with stakeholders.
• Assist with structuring, documentation, and financial modeling of funds.
• Become the subject matter expert on fund terms and mechanics.
• Maintain technical expertise and regulatory awareness.
• Guide product launches through governance processes.
• Collaborate with various teams and external partners.
• Design currency hedging strategies for funds.

Product Maintenance

• Represent the investment team on product activities.
• Research product trends and innovations.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 4 years of experience with investment funds, preferably in private assets.
• Knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS, and European fund strategies.
• Experience with private assets investment strategies.
• Strong organization, numeracy, and project management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred: Accounting qualification (ACA), CFA, or similar; understanding of currency markets and FX derivatives.
