We are seeking an inquisitive and analytical individual to join our Industry team. The MMB Industry team provides guidance, content and insight to colleagues across MMB around how an Industry-led approach to sales and consulting helps have differentiated growth-led conversations with our clients and prospects.
The Knowledge Manager/Analyst will take ownership of selected Industries and act as the subject matter expert on BBE-linked issues and priorities affecting those Industries and what this means for our clients and prospects. You will lead in the researching and development of Industry content and events in collaboration with the Industry Leaders and assist in team projects as necessary. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Location is flexible and can be based out of our Birmingham, Bristol, Chichester, Edinburgh, Glasgow or Manchester offices.
We will count on you to:
- Lead as main subject matter expert on 2-3 Industries, in collaboration with Industry Leader
- Proactively research industry trends and drive/create thought leadership, issues-led growth material, and events which support our growth agenda through Industry-fronted consulting
- Develop new propositions as appropriate led by Industry need
- Drive the growth of MMB’s revenue and client book across a number of defined Industries/set of sub-Industries, through supporting the Industry Leader and Industry Practice Leaders.
- Become subject matter expert on BBE Issues/Megatrends affecting the Industry, and how this translates into EH&B and MMB/MMC solutions
- Identify and drive engagement and collaboration with, and act as external representative for Industry within wider UK Industry landscape (press, trade associations etc…)
- Help in coordination of regular Industry roadshows across UK MMB offices (travel required)
What you need to have:
- Proven analytical skills, including qualitative and quantitative analysis, specific to BBE research methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills, both in person and virtually
- Previous CRM based experience, including managing contacts and opportunities
- Well-developed knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
