Our team is seeking a leader to manage a variety of clean water projects on our South West Water Framework. We’re looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to work closely within the AMP8 client partnership to establish, lead, and deliver the preconstruction programme to ensure efficient and prompt delivery of the clean water programme across Cornwall. You’ll be integral to shaping the programme, establishing budgets, and grasping opportunities to optimise project delivery. Schemes are varied in size and complexity, typically consisting of a high degree of traditional civils with some mechanical and electrical works, ranging from £250k to over £10m.

The Role Of a Pre-Construction Manager Includes:
- Identify the allocated programme and batch efficiencies.
- Arrange the programme for efficient delivery, considering standardisation and repeatable solutions.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to secure support and commitment.
- Establish key commitment dates and plan to achieve them.
- Manage the delivery process, including governance stages and requirements.
- Coordinate internal operational, commercial/estimating, and design requirements supporting pre-construction.
