Role Objectives: The Associate Market Access Consultant will support and help deliver key elements of client programmes under the guidance of the senior Market Access team lead. These programmes may include Strategic Consulting, ex-US funding access (e.g., France, Italy, Switzerland), Integrated Evidence Plans, and Pricing and Market Access services. The Associate will lead specific workstreams within these programmes, acting as the main contact for their deliverables while collaborating with WEP’s cross-functional teams to address client needs. As a Market Access Consultant, you will build strong client relationships, develop a clear understanding of client objectives, and contribute to solution development. The role also involves building an industry network, supporting business development activities, and contributing to tailored proposals that reflect international patient and Market Access priorities.

What You’ll Do:
- Work with the senior Market Access client programme lead to understand client requirements for each Market Access programme and identify key workstreams that the Associate Consultant will lead, support, and/or deliver.
- Support research, analysis, and reporting necessary for due diligence to scope out the client’s needs.
- Develop comprehensive project plans for each workstream, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, stakeholders, engagement plans, and budgets.
- Create Market Access slide decks and present to clients on topics such as France and other European Early Access and general WEP Market Access capabilities.
- Represent WEP Clinical at client meetings, supported by the senior Market Access lead.
- Deliver market access projects timely, ensuring high client satisfaction and fostering additional programme awards.
- Manage each client’s Market Access programme as per the Statement of Work, handling stakeholder expectations, communications, reports, issues, and external partnerships.
- Prepare Early Access Programme dossiers for target markets.
- Develop asset profiles, conduct competitor landscaping, and devise local market negotiation strategies.
- Perform pricing due diligence analysis to support client projects.
- Work cross-functionally within WEP to implement and support client programmes.
- Write client proposals, collate information, and deliver accurate, actionable analyses.
- Support WEP’s presence at Congresses through presentation development.
- Identify business development opportunities and train BD members on European Market Access opportunities.
- Manage financial data such as contract values and invoicing in line with WEP processes.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Scientific discipline and/or MSc in Health Economics.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Market Access Healthcare Consultancy, demonstrating access to medicines in the EU.
- Client-facing experience within a consultancy or pharmaceutical company.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret and report on data sets.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in preparing client presentation slides.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, and fluent in English; knowledge of another European language is a plus.
- Keen interest in medical research, healthcare provision, and the pharmaceutical industry.
