The Senior People Business Partner at Navan will support EMEA Go-To-Market employees, primarily located in London, France, Netherlands, and Germany, collaborating closely with the Global People Team. This role requires working with HR experts across Europe and the US. As a Senior People Success Business Partner, you will partner with People, L&D, Talent Acquisition, and Total Rewards to support our global workforce. You will provide expert guidance, data-driven insights, and strategic and tactical support to help people leaders achieve their goals while fostering a high-performing, engaged culture. The role involves HR consulting, coaching, and hands-on HR work. Through strong relationships and effective communication, you will drive the implementation of initiatives, address challenges, and promote improvements locally and globally.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in global people initiatives and projects, including planning, communication, implementation, and continual improvement, focusing on business objectives and company values, in partnership with our Global Go-To-Market People team.
- Consult leadership on organizational design, people matters, manager coaching & development, performance and talent management, organizational realignment, workforce planning, hiring & retention strategies, and People program development.
- Support the design and implementation of engagement and recognition initiatives.
- Assist managers with work environment topics and activities to improve the workplace.
- Support and challenge leaders to enhance management capabilities.
- Provide direct support and guidance to employees.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, especially related to employment law, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Lead investigations and activities related to employee relations as needed.
- Support the People Development team with regional expertise and innovative ideas.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience as a People Business Partner/HR Partner.
- Extensive experience at a senior level in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Results-oriented with the ability to build credibility with leaders and employees at all levels.
- Strong business acumen, collaboration skills, and experience in building and scaling teams globally.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage people analytics and insights.
- Deep knowledge of employment law, including UK labor law (French law experience is a plus).
- Effective communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- Resilience and forward-thinking attitude.
