M+C Saatchi Group is looking for highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join our team in London on a 12 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, deploying, and managing a hybrid IT infrastructure that is robust, scalable, and secure. We are seeking individuals with deep technical expertise across a range of systems and technologies, as well as strong incident response and problem-solving capabilities. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Designing and Deploying hybrid IT infrastructure systems: responsible for designing and deploying servers, cloud solutions, storage, network devices, and applications. Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, and security.
- Systems Administration: responsible for administering systems including servers, cloud platforms, workstations, and mobile devices. Ensure systems are up to date and configured securely.
- Incident Response and Management: required to, in collaboration with partners, respond to infrastructure incidents and system failures. Identify root causes, contain damage, and remediate affected systems and data.
- End User Compute Environment Management: Maintain policy, software, and operating system deployment management. Leverage Intune, Mosyle, and JAMF. Demonstrate deep understanding of Microsoft technologies and related infrastructure. Utilise strong PowerShell scripting skills.
- Capacity Management: manage overall capacity utilisation of server, storage, and network environments. Optimise resources to meet business requirements.
- Deployments: Support and manage branch office and technical deployments.
- IT Project Team: Key technical contributor in global IT transformation projects including but not limited to Google Workspace to Microsoft 365/Microsoft Entra migrations and data migrations.
Required Technology Experience:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, Networks, Meraki, VMware, Nutanix, HyperV, DHCP, DNS, etc.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid IT infrastructure design and deployment.
- Proven systems administration skills.
- Expertise in incident response and management.
- Proficiency in managing end-user compute environments using Microsoft tools.
- Capacity management experience.
- Ability to handle technical deployments in various locations.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
ABOUT YOU:
You have a proven track record in developing hybrid IT systems and infrastructure on a global scale. Experience in having delivered Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations is essential. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of on-premises and cloud technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, HyperV, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure support and administration.
- Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows OS, Active Directory, Backup and Disaster Recovery.
- Proficient in Identity and Access Management platforms (e.g., Entra ID, Okta).
- In-depth understanding of server technologies, enterprise storage, network protocols, and infrastructure components.
- Skilled in managing and deploying resources within public cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS).
- Familiar with virtualisation infrastructure (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Azure Stack HCI).
- Knowledgeable in Mobile Device Management platforms (e.g., Intune, Mosyle, JAMF).
- Well-versed in ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with Desktop as a Service (e.g., Citrix, AVD), automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Power Automate), and Linux OS.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Industry-recognised IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
