JOB MISSION
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact? We’re looking for passionate individuals eager to help grow our Sales Department, while upholding our core values of beauty, ethics, and sustainability. As our HC National Sales Manager UK & Ireland, you will report into the General Manager and will lead the sales organisation within the UK and Ireland to deliver annual sustainability and financial commitments.
What You Will Do
- Lead the UK and Republic of Ireland direct sales team to achieve annual net sales, brand penetration and salon distribution targets.
- Responsible for leading the Regional Sales Managers in the design of robust plans tailored to the opportunities for growth within individual sales areas.
- Closely partner with the UK Leadership team to enable a multi-functional approach to planning across Sales, Marketing, Education, Finance and Customer Care.
- Support the creation of the annual local PGSM (Purpose, Goals, Strategies and Measures) to define the strategic priorities and investments to enable achievement of the total subsidiary sales and profit targets.
- Lead the design and execution of the sales capabilities program for the UK direct sales team in partnership with Human Resources.
- Define and evaluate the development areas within the team to create a robust program with defined success measures linked to individual KPI’s.
- Own the relationship with external training providers to ensure education is delivered in line with expectations.
- Partner with the local Commercial Strategy & Planning Manager to design the commercial activation of initiatives including localization of the global sales story, promotional design and targeting.
- Ownership of ensuring that all elements are fit for purpose and executed with excellence through the direct sales team.
- Lead the creation of annual targets for net sales, brand penetration and salon distribution.
- Partner with Finance to design the annual sales incentive program for the Direct Sales channels that reward against the strategic growth priorities for the business.
- Closely collaborate with the UK distributors to create synergies with their sales teams.
- Identify and realise opportunities to enable knowledge and capability growth directly linked to the programs running for the Direct Sales Team.
- Enable sharing of best practices to deliver incremental growth for both Davines direct and distributors.
- Create and implement annual performance dialogues with direct reports, including quarterly reviews to track results against quantitative and qualitative measures.
- Lead Regional Sales Managers in the annual performance dialogue process through to individual Key Account Managers to ensure robust plans are in place across the whole Direct Sales organisation.
- Represent the company externally by being visible in the market through regular meetings with existing and prospect customers alongside participation in industry bodies.
- Foster relationships with key industry influencers to increase Davines brand awareness.
Who You Are
- 10+ years of experience in the Beauty / Hair cosmetics industry, preferably in the professional salon.
- A background in sales with experience in a commercial role is required.
- A proven record in managing and developing sales talent.
- London or Midlands based preferred; this role is location free and will involve significant travel within the UK and Republic of Ireland.
- A full, clean driving licence is essential.
