JOB PURPOSE The Pricing Specialist is responsible for supplying quotes and /or costs for enquiries from existing and new customers. KEY RESULTS AREAS (ACCOUNTABILITIES) Generate airfreight and / or seafreight quotations to support regular and/or spot pricing enquiries from the Local operations and development teams Preparation and presentation of the quote including nett pricing in order to support the sales functions/channels Analyse, record and prepare weekly/monthly reports identifying any trends in the level of quote activity and achievement against target to the Branch Pricing Manager in order to monitor performance. Prioritising the quote requests, so that the best opportunities are responded to as quickly as possible Knowledge and ability to be able to secure the rates for the quote construction from the business field quoting platform to meet the demand. Communicate regularly with internal senior Branch Management, carriers and airlines, when applicable. Follow up of quotations as needed and communicate the positive or negative feedback in respect of being able to source the competitive rate to support the closure of all business opportunities.
