Overview Wiss, Janney, Elstner Limited (WJE) is seeking a highly motivated and well-established Facade Engineer to join our London team as an Associate Director . This role involves leading the development of our facade engineering practice. The Opportunity As an Associate Director , you will be key to advancing WJE’s facade consultancy and building refurbishment practice across the UK and Europe. This is a unique chance to build your own practice , supported by our experienced team and extensive resources in London. Our firm, founded in 1956, comprises over 600 professionals with expertise in facade engineering, building science, and materials. You will provide technical expertise in the UK market, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and apply your knowledge of architectural engineering principles, building envelope systems, and relevant codes to deliver innovative solutions. Responsibilities Lead technical project execution and management. Foster client relationships and develop new business opportunities. Build and mentor a team to support practice growth. Contribute to research and industry presence through professional organizations. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is motivated to develop an emerging practice, curious, independent, resourceful, and effective at team building. Strong leadership and industry recognition are preferred.
