Overview: The MAdtech Director will operationalize the ad tech and martech space for Marriott, focusing on sourcing, organizing, and activating data from various sources (0P / 1P / 2P / 3P). This role is within the digital strategy team in London and acts as the EMEA liaison. Knowledge of European data regulations is desirable. The role includes working with global teams and managing a junior responsible for creating data segments from platforms like Adobe Audience Manager & GA4.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an in-house expert on audience and data-led digital advertising ROI for Marriott and Spark International clients.
  • Guide and influence media strategies using audience data based on client objectives.
  • Understand platform/data technologies and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Identify industry opportunities, meet vendors, and share insights with clients.
  • Develop personalization strategies across channels such as mobile, desktop, website, and CRM.
  • Partner with activation teams to support media activation and data use cases.
  • Manage relationships with CDPs, Identity Resolution, and oversee deployment of data solutions.
  • Share insights and results with clients and internal teams to impact business decisions.
  • Effectively communicate vision to experienced digital clients.
  • Participate in clients' decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Deep technical knowledge of ad and martech including ad servers, rich media, dynamic creative, streaming video, ad verification, DMPs, CDPs, identity resolution, DSPs, etc.
  • Strong understanding of digital media planning and management.
  • Ability to articulate vision to experienced digital clients.
  • Expertise with Identity Solution tools (e.g., Epsilon, Liveramp, Neustar).
  • Expertise with CDPs (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Treasure Data).
  • Understanding of data flow within adtech/martech ecosystems.
