About The Role

We seek a talented Senior Product Manager for our ‘Professional Success’ squad to enhance the experience for service providers on Bark.com. This role involves transforming Bark from a lead generation platform to a full marketplace, similar to Amazon for services. You will focus on acquiring and engaging Professionals, improving their visibility, and converting that into business success. You will also be instrumental in monetising this experience, leveraging your commercial expertise. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and cross-functional teams including Marketing, Analytics, and Customer Support to deliver products that benefit Professionals, Consumers, and Bark. This is a pivotal role in our growth journey, shaping how services are bought and sold online.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision and strategy for your squad, defining success metrics
  • Develop and promote your Product roadmap and backlog
  • Ensure efficient delivery through clear scope, discovery, and prioritisation
  • Communicate progress and priorities effectively to stakeholders
  • Focus on user needs using qualitative and quantitative data
  • Take ownership from problem identification to solution launch and beyond

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven success as a Product Manager in a fast-paced online environment, preferably marketplaces or small business products
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting and discussing ideas confidently at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills using both qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience with lean and agile methodologies
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, yet collaborative
  • Strong commercial and technical understanding, capable of articulating concepts clearly
