What you\’ll be doing

We are seeking a Procurement professional to lead and manage procurement activities for strategic bids/projects to support business growth. The role involves working on a hybrid basis; the ideal candidate should reside near Guildford or London and be available to come to the office a couple of times per week as required.

• Represent Procurement in major bids involving third-party spend, ensuring compliance.
• Maintain effective communication and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for Procurement.
• Manage workload within procurement policies, prioritize tasks, and escalate issues outside your control.

Your skills and experience

• Significant experience in a business-winning procurement environment.
• High standards in sourcing, process knowledge, negotiation, and contracting skills.
• Excellent project management, commercial acumen, financial awareness, risk and opportunity management.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Good understanding of the external environment and market intelligence.
• Demonstrated business acumen.
• Ability to lead strategic bids and campaigns throughout the lifecycle.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and lead a high-performing, diverse team.
• CIPS Level 5 qualification, IACCM, or equivalent.
• Must hold SC clearance or be eligible to obtain necessary security clearance as a UK national.
