The role:
- Support the Bid Management Lead in applying the end-to-end Business Winning Methodology throughout the Sector.
- Lead in developing and ensuring quality of business winning outputs, including bid strategies, competitive assessments, win strategies, and value propositions that differentiate Babcock’s offerings.
- Work alongside customer-facing opportunity owners, lead the design and implementation of effective business winning programmes, and ensure bid teams are well-resourced.
- Act as the Business Winning Lead within the opportunity leadership team, escalating matters related to the Business Winning Methodology.
- Own the application of the Business Winning Methodology for specific bids or portfolios, working closely with functional leads to develop quality outputs.
- Line management of Bid Managers and Bid Coordinators.
- Develop partnering strategies.
This role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with hybrid working: three days onsite at Hamilton or Belfast and two days from home.
Essential experience:
- Experience in leading the application of recognised business winning methodologies on major bids.
- Experience managing the capture phase of opportunities, producing quality capture outputs.
- Ability to motivate and lead multi-functional teams.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness.
