One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist in the United Kingdom, Ireland, or the United States. We're seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to help drive procurement operations and vendor negotiations in a fast-paced, global environment. This fully remote role involves collaborating across departments to optimize spend, streamline processes, and ensure compliance with procurement policies. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, hands-on experience with Procure2Pay systems, and the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. You'll play a key role in managing vendor relationships, supporting procurement systems, and contributing to cost-saving strategies across key functions such as IT, marketing, and engineering.
Accountabilities:
- Oversee daily procurement activities, managing vendor contracts and approvals across multiple spend categories
- Lead contract negotiations for goods and services including software, hardware, and professional services
- Support internal teams through the procurement process and provide training on Procure2Pay systems
- Manage vendor onboarding and ensure all requisitions meet documentation and compliance standards
- Collaborate with legal and security stakeholders during vendor selection and contract development
- Analyze data, generate procurement reports, and support internal audits as needed
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead competitive bidding processes
Requirements:
- 6+ years' experience in procurement, with expertise in Procure2Pay platforms and ERP systems
- Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and indirect procurement
- Strong analytical and Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Solid understanding of procurement compliance and best practices
- Experience working with cross-functional internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, Marketing, Engineering)
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
