In-House Construction Senior Legal Counsel

Douglas Scott are working with a market leading Service Business who are Headquartered in the West Midlands. The global business is growing with over 15K employees in the UK and over 70K globally.  They're on the lookout for a 4+ PQE solicitor (no upper limit on experience) who is confident giving commercially focussed legal advice to senior stakeholders as well as a variety of public and private sector clients.  Job Title: In-House Senior Legal Counsel – ConstructionLocation: West MidlandsFlexibility: Hybrid working options in place. Typically 1 day in officeSalary: £75K to £90K + Car Allowance + BonusSector: Services Management and Regeneration Projects  Get in touch for further details.  You'll be handling a variety of contracts on behalf of the business, predominantly on construction projects.  An understanding of the contractual framework surrounding construction projects is therefore required. This includes experience of drafting and negotiating contentious and non-contentious JCT and NEC contracts.
