About The Role:
As a Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in delivering a wide range of professional and project-based services. From defect diagnosis and technical due diligence to contract administration and refurbishment projects, this role offers variety, autonomy, and clear progression in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out building surveys, schedules of condition, and defect analysis
- Prepare specifications and manage refurbishment and maintenance projects
- Administer contracts and monitor works on site
- Deliver professional advice including dilapidations, party wall, and pre-acquisition surveys
- Liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Support junior team members and contribute to business development activities
Requirements
- Degree-qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Ideally MRICS (or working towards chartership)
- 2–5 years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side role
- Strong technical knowledge and report writing skills
- Organised, professional, and confident working both independently and as part of a team
- A client-focused mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach
- Full UK driving licence
